GoodwillFinds sources donated items from a number of Goodwill stores around the country, and makes them available to browse and purchase online. Your dollars spent at Goodwillfinds go toward community support and services that help those in need of opportunity secure work, job security, financial independence, and sense of purpose.

Items are donated to participating Goodwill donation centers and listed by member organizations for sale on GoodwillFinds.com.

At this time, donations are not eligible for Goodwillfindscom shopping credit. If you're interested in donating items to your local Goodwill, you can visit the store for information on how to receive tax credit for your donation.

Only items donated to participating Goodwill stores are eligible to be sold on GoodwillFinds.com 

My Account

To manage your account, go to your Account Dashboard. Choose 'Profile Details' to change your account details.

After logging into your account, you may change your password by visiting your Account Dashboard and choosing 'Change Password'. You may then follow the prompts to complete your password update.

Visit our Login page, as if you are signing in, and click the 'Forgot Password?' link. You may then follow the prompts to reset your password.

GoodwillFinds uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information consistent with industry standards. For example, we use encryption, passwords, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information against unauthorized access and disclosure. The security of your personal information is important to us, but please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the absolute security of any information you transmit to GoodwillFinds or the Website, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive you transmission of information, GoodwillFinds makes commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security our our systems. However, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. While we strive to protect your personal information and privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose online.

Purchases

The item you were looking at may have been purchased by another customer. Many of our listed items at GoodwillFinds are one-of-a-kind or are of limited quantity. 

The condition of each listed item is displayed in the item's Product Details section. All items on GoodwillFinds are sold as is. If you wish to shop risk-free, it is strongly suggested that you purchase Return Assurance at checkout.

Most Categories:

New With Tags upon visual inspection, the item presents as unused and has its original tags
Pre-owned - Like New item presents as lightly used with no visual signs of wear or damage
Pre-owned - Excellent item is in very good condition but may have some signs of use or wear
Pre-owned - Good item will show signs of use and may have minor defects that do not affect the use of the item

Toys & Collectibles:

New - Original Packaging item has its original retail packaging and appears to be unused
Pre-owned - Like New item has no visible signs of use or wear
Pre-owned - Excellent item is in very good condition but may have some signs of use, marks, or minor defects
Pre-owned - Good item will show signs of use and may have minor defects that do not affect the use of the item

Electronics:

New - Open Box, Power Tested On item appears to be new with no visible signs of use
Pre-owned - Power Tested On item powers on but may not be fully functional; may have minor defects and scratches
Untested no claims as to the functional status of the item nor to the integrity of its parts
For Repair or Parts item is not functional and should only be purchased for use as parts or upcycling

Jewelry:

New item appears to be new with no visible signs of use or wear
Pre-owned - Like New item looks almost new and has minor (if any) signs of use or wear
Pre-owned - Excellent item is in very good condition but may have some signs of use, marks, or minor defects
Pre-owned - Good item will show signs of use and may have minor defects that do not affect the use of the item

We accept all major credit cards including Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express as well as Apple Pay and Paypal. 

We do not currently offer gift cards for GoodwillFinds.com, but plan to offer them in the future.

You can access your order status by visiting your Account Dashboard and choosing 'Order History', or by visiting the Check Order page. 

As each item on the GoodwillFinds platform is unique in its own way, we do not match prices to similar items on both this platform or others. Please be advised that promotions and discounts must be used at the time of purchase. GoodwillFinds will not provide a refund if they fall into a sale or discount category any time after purchase.

If a Fulfillment Center cancels an item, it is typically for one of the following reasons: 1) The item was damaged at the warehouse and is not suitable for shipping. 2) The item was misplaced or lost at the warehouse. 3) An item was shipped to the wrong customer and is unavailable unless or until it has been returned. Orders are not guaranteed until they have shipped.

We currently allow up to 200 items per order.

All orders submitted via GoodwillFinds.com are final and may not be cancelled or amended after checkout for any reason. We encourage our customers to purchase the Seel Return Assurance during the checkout process to mitigate any concerns that may arise after an order is placed.

Shipping and Delivery

In order to optimize the funds available for making a positive impact in the community, we do not offer free shipping. Learn more about the good we do together by visiting our Community Impact Page.

Because items from GoodwillFinds ship from a variety of Goodwill locations, shipping options vary per item. During the checkout process, you will be offered the shipping options available for your items based on your shipping address.

No, at this time, we do not ship outside of the United States.

Due to high order volume, your order may take up to 10 business days for your order to ship. Transit times will vary depending on the location of the item purchased, shipping destination, and carrier tracking information will be provided via email, as well as on your order status, which can be accessed in your Account Dashboard.

Due to size, wieght, and logistical limitations, large furniture purchased through GoodwillFinds.com is only available for pick up in-store. Any shipping limitations of items in your cart will be clarified prior to purchase.

No, at this time, we are unable to fulfill orders sent to PO boxes.

Each order may contain items that are fulfilled from various centers across the GoodwillFinds network. Due to the size and composition of items, not all items may be sent together. Should all items of your order not arrive within 10 days of your order date, please contact customer service.

GoodwillFinds will reach out to you once via email and phone when they are alerted that your item has been shipped back to us. If we do not hear from you within 7 days of our contact, you will be refunded for the item (shipping and handling will not be refunded) and the item will be relisted.

Please email customerservice@goodwillfinds.com with photos of the item and the packaging. Do not discard the packaging that you have received. Without photos and the physical packaging, our team is not able to investigate the matter further.

You may contact GoodwillFinds customer service prior to you item shipping to request a change in address. While we are not able to guarantee the change will happen, we will do our best to update the information. For items that have already shipped, GoodwillFinds is unable to change the shipping address. You may reach out to the courier at that point to see what your options are.

At this time, you will receive an email when the first item is shipped with tracking information. We are currently working on a process that provides additional tracking information. Because an order with multiple items may be fulfilled from various centers across the GoodwillFinds network, not all items may be sent together. Should all items of your order not arrive within 10 days of your order date, please contact customer service.

Returns

All sales with GoodwillFinds are final. Refunds are only processed based on damages to goods during transit and fulfillment errors such as incorrectly shipped or missing items and within 14 days of receiving the item. Please contact customerservice@GoodwillFinds.com for additional questions. 

The one exception to our final sale policy is if you purchase Return Assurance with your order. In that case, you will have 7 days to return your final sale item to Seel via the Seel Resolution Center. There is an additional $X charge for return shipping in the event that you return a final sale item to Seel. See our FAQs about Seel Return Assurance below.

Sales made via goodwillfinds.com are final. Only under extenuating circumstances (broken items, item not as described, wrong item received) may be returned within 14 days of receiving the item. Pictures of the item will need to be shared in your email to customerservice@goodwillfinds.com.

Once your return is received, it will undergo a quality inspection. Should the inspection results determine that the faults described with the returned item align with the description of the product in the listing, the shipping cost and return shipping cost may be deducted from your refund total.

Once GoodwillFinds is alerted of the need to process a refund for your item(s), you may anticipate your refund to be completed within 5 business days. Once refunded, it may take up to 10 business days for your refund to post back to your account.

Any items purchased on GoodwillFinds.com may only be returned via mail to GoodwillFinds.com.

Seel Return Assurance

The one exception to our final sale policy is if you purchase Return Assurance with your order. In that case, you will have 7 days to return your final sale item to Seel via the Seel Resolution Center. There is an additional $X charge for return shipping in the event that you return a final sale item to Seel. 

Seel Return Assurance and On-time Delivery Guarantee are defaulted to "Yes" during the checkout process as we believe this offers our customers the best experience. If you do not wish to buy these add-ons just shift the corresponding toggle to "off" and the charges will be removed from your cart. 

To request a Return Assurance shipping label, report your return within 7 days of delivery through the Seel Resolution Center. Log in with your email and order number or coverage ID from your confirmation email.

If you purchased an item with Return Assurance, you have 7 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

If the item is final sale and you purchased Return Assurance with your order, then you will need to submit your return through the Seel Resolution Center. You will also receive an email from Seel once the return has been received.

If you purchased Return Assurance with your order, then it will be dependent on your method of refund.

Direct Deposit 1-3 business days following return acceptance
Virtual Visa Card 1 hour following return acceptance
PayPal Transfer 1 hour following return acceptance
Venmo Transfer 1 hour following return acceptance

If you purchased Return Assurance with your order, then Seel will send you a confirmation of your Return Assurance purchase via email. Return Assurance is not refundable unless the entire order is canceled.

Seel Guaranteed Delivery

Delivery Guarantee is a service provided by Seel. It provides carbon offsetting for your order and protects against loss, damage, or theft during shipment.

  • Delivery Guarantee also includes carbon-neutral shipment within the recipient’s country.
  • Theft: Delivery Guarantee covers missing items due to theft (also known as “Porch Piracy”) In order to be considered a theft, the order must be marked as delivered by the applicable shipping carrier, at the correct destination.
  • Loss: Domestic packages not delivered 30 days after order fulfillment (i.e., the date when the order is shipped by the merchant) are considered lost. (60 days for international packages.) Lost packages will be compensated for the actual item(s) value paid.
  • Damage: Delivery Guarantee covers item damages to the point that the item(s) are unusable, clearly fractured, shattered, bent (if not bendable), crushed, etc., but does not cover cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, etc.), manufacturing damages, packaging errors, or unsealed items. The compensation for damaged items will be up to the value paid for the purchased item(s).

Note: Total compensation for one cover is up to the value actually paid for the item(s).

Delivery Guarantee does not cover the following categories of items

Automobiles and motorcycles / Jewelry (valued in excess of 1,500 local currency) / Boats and yachts / Live animals / Cash / Lumber / Ceramic / marble or granite tiles / slab blocks countertops or statues / Negotiable papers / Cigarettes and other tobacco products / Perishable commodities / Raw cotton / Pharmaceutical drugs / Fine arts (valued in excess of 10,000 local currency per piece) / Precious stones and metals / Flowers / Scrap metal, steel metal and steel metal products; automotive engines; general used automotive merchandise made of metal / Glass windows, plate glass and similar goods / Securities

To qualify for the payout, shoppers need to follow the issue reporting requirements:

  • Issues of loss, where the package is not delivered, must not be reported sooner than 30 days after the order fulfillment date for domestic shipments and 60 days for international shipments.
  • Issues of damage, where the package is delivered, must be reported within 15 days after the delivery date.
  • Issues of theft, where the package is marked delivered, must be reported within 7 days of the order date recorded delivery date.

To receive a payout for your package issues, you should first report your issue in the Seel Resolution Center. We’ll review the request and send you the payout via Venmo, Paypal, direct deposit, or virtual credit card through email if your request is eligible.
